TikTok has informed its staff that company leaders are preparing for multiple outcomes in anticipation of the Supreme Court potentially affirming a ban on the app in the United States.
In an internal memo obtained by The Verge, employees were told that the company is “continuing to plan the way forward” ahead of the Supreme Court’s decision, which is expected as soon as Wednesday, January 15th.
“The uncertainty of what lies ahead can be disconcerting,” states the memo, adding that “our offices will continue to operate” no matter if the app faces a ban on January 19th.
