The Detroit Lions did some early recruitment after a video of a 31-pound baby went viral on TikTok.
Madison Peltzer and her mother shared videos of her infant, which quickly amassed more than 10 million views online. She disclosed that her six-month-old son ranks in the '99th percentile for all measurements' concerning his weight.
Following the release of the clip, the Lions' social media team promptly joined the discussion with a succinct one-word reply.
"Dibs," the administrator for the team's TikTok account typed out.
In another video, Madison acknowledged the comment, writing '@Detroit Lions, give us a few years & we're there.'
Peltzer has shared that her son is solely breastfed and was born weighing 9 pounds and 2 ounces.

As the Lions' humorous take on the viral video spread, fans started inundating Peltzer's posts regarding her son with playful comments about him joining their team.
"One enthusiastic fan exclaimed, 'Welcome to the Detroit Lions, little guy!!'"
"Future Lions player," another commented, adding a handshake emoji.
"A third person chimed in, saying, 'Bro is heading to the Lions.'"
The Lions wrapped up the season boasting a 15-2 record and are considered frontrunners to clinch the NFC title following their defeat in the conference championship game last year.
Their playoff adventure kicks off on Saturday as they welcome the Washington Commanders for the Divisional Round.
