In the episode that aired on January 8 (filmed the previous year), Robbie and Mike traveled to Florida to explore a collection of vintage gas station signs and memorabilia. The collection's owner, who goes by the name "Judge," was reluctant to part with most of his items. Nevertheless, Robbie was determined to acquire one particular piece and was persistent in his pursuit, refusing to accept rejection.
The sign was a vibrant double-sided Moline piece, featuring bold red, black, and yellow colors. Robbie had a deep desire to acquire it as it reminded him of his roots. “This is the ultimate find, the treasure I’ve been searching for,” he expressed during the show. Initially, Robbie proposed $12,500 to “Judge” for the sign, but after some back and forth, they settled on a final price of $13,100.
It was another big win for Robbie Wolfe. It was not a big win for American Pickers.
American Pickers Ratings Continue To Struggle
The good news is that the episode had higher ratings than the previous week’s outing. 629,000 people tuned in to see Robbie buy this sign. Last week, American Pickers only had an audience of 595,000 viewers (via The U.S. Sun).

The season's sole highlight occurred during the episode aired on December 18, attracting an audience of 760,000 viewers, marking the peak viewership for the season. In contrast, the episode from October 30 suffered a significant drop, registering a disappointing low of just 442,000 viewers, despite featuring the much-anticipated DIY Delorean segment. Additionally, two weeks prior, the October 16 episode attracted only 463,000 viewers.
The ratings are significantly down from last season, which was also a low for the series. One episode of last season reached 996,000 viewers (February 28, 2024), and this season hasn’t come close to that number. The last time over a million people tuned in to American Pickers was when Frank Fritz appeared on the show in March 2020.
