Jim Jones shared a preview of “JOMO (Jump Off My AYOO),” his follow-up track targeting Cam’ron during their ongoing feud.
Jim Jones is loading up another response to Cam’ron’s recent explosive tirade, teasing a new single addressing their recent public spat.
On the morning of Thursday, January 16, Capo unveiled a new track called “JOMO (Jump Off My AYOO),” responding to a fellow ex-Dipset rapper who had challenged his authenticity.
"Is he from the Bronx, or is he a Harlem n####?" Jones rhymes in the excerpt. "Forget all that, just let me know what the issue is, n####/ I'm all about being real/I navigate with/my team solid."
Jim Jones proclaims himself “a legend across two boroughs” and appears to send a cautionary message to Cam’ron and skeptics alike.
"Continue playing, my young lads will set the world ablaze for me," he remarked.
“BIG JOMO, you know the deal,” Jim Jones captioned, alluding to the nickname Cam’ron called him during his podcast tirade. “Check out my new single JOMO (Jump Off My AYOO).”
The track features a sneak peek of another track from Jones that addresses Killa Cam, which he had shared just the day before.
Both tracks look set to appear on Jones’ upcoming album, At The Church Steps.
Moreover, Capo is preparing to drop a remix titled “This Sh!t Still In Harlem.” This version includes collaborations with Juelz Santana, Vado, Dave East, and 2gs such as Gucci.
The conflict between Jones and Cam escalated following Capo's comments made in a recent interview.
Cam’ron responded on his “It Is What It Is” podcast, blasting Jones, claiming he was “fanned out” by Cam and Ma$e’s early success and “begged” to be around them once Children of the Corn began taking off.
Regardless of his rivalry with Cam’ron, Jim Jones appears determined to restore Dipset to its former glory. It’s still uncertain how this situation will unfold and whether the former Diplomats will be able to resolve their conflicts.
